Our areas of operation

In the chemical industry, chromatographic methods are widely used for the inspection of incoming goods, as well as for product approval. They are also used in research and development, as these separation processes work great for a wide variety of sample matrices.
As there are so many detection methods (UV spectrometers, fluorescence, light scattering, mass spectrometry, etc.), the range of application for offline analytics is quite vast. Infrared spectrometers and other gas analysis sensors, such as flame ionization detectors, can be used for the online analysis of process gases or for monitoring the maximum allowed workplace concentrations. The main focus of these analytical methods is on measuring concentrations of gases which are harmful to the environment (NOx, CO, THC, etc.)


What is needed in the industrial sector is, above all, reliable equipment and immediate help and repairs in case of problems. Our team has several years of experience servicing chromatography systems, as well as various exhaust gas analyzers and can offer swift and immediate assistance.

We focus on the analysis of exhaust gases for classic combustion engines while
some of the following methods are also used to analyze the quality of the hydrogen in fuel cells. In this field, Fourier transform infrared spectrometers (FTIR) are widely used for their extensive analysis system.
With this technology, several substances (NH3, propane, NOx, CO, etc.) can be identified and their concentration measured simultaneously online in the sample stream.
It is a technology that has a wide range of applications. For substance specific analyses, a larger technical effort is necessary requiring a separate analysis for each substance class. This gives you a higher significance regarding concentration levels. For the exhaust gas analysis of combustion engines, we use the following methods: quantum cascade lasers (NO2, NH3), chemiluminescence (NO/NOx), flame ionization (THC), infrared (CO/CO2) and magnetopneumatics (O2).
Labsupport has many years of experience in this field with our main focus being the maintenance and calibration of said analytical methods for the development of diesel engines.

Core elements for quality control in the pharmaceutical industry are in-process controls and release tests.
This sector is highly regulated on the one hand and, on the other hand, analyses are carried out with the utmost care as they are used in and on human beings. Various international authorities (FDA, ICH, EMEA, etc.) enact new guidelines and regularly implement stricter and stricter frameworks. Accordingly, the regular maintenance done by and qualifications of external service staff are held to a very high standard.
Liquid chromatography analyses are one of the main applications in the analysis of biologically active substances. Gas chromatography is primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry for the analysis of volatile substances (direct or head-space) and to monitor raw materials. Automated electrophoretic methods for the separation and analysis of proteins and RNA/DNA Fragments are technically established but are still rarely used in practice.
